Open enrollment for health and dental coverage through HealthSource RI ends January 31, 2017. HealthSource RI is Rhode Island’s health insurance marketplace under the Affordable Care Act. Health plans and dental plans are available. Find coverage that fits your needs and budget.

Need Insurance?
Families in need of health or dental insurance coverage are encouraged to find a plan! Financial help may be available including tax credits, as well as free health and dental insurance through Medicaid, including RIte Care/RIte Smiles.
When choosing a dental coverage, be sure to consider the cost of premiums, deductibles, and co-pays, as well as covered benefits and participating dental providers.
Dental Insurance for children: Commercial pediatric dental insurance is offered in two ways on HealthSource RI in 2017:
Dental Insurance for adults: Commercial adult dental insurance is mainly offered as a separate dental plan on HealthSource RI in 2017 (adult dental benefits are only included in a Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI VantageBlue Direct 1200/2400 plan). No financial assistance is available for any separate adult dental plan.
Already have Insurance? - Commercial coverage (this applies to families who are not covered through Medicaid.)
Families who were covered (health or dental insurance) through HealthSource RI in 2016 need to renew now!
Medicaid/RIte Care/RIte Smiles
If you are eligible for Medicaid, you can enroll in no cost coverage at any time – you do not need to enroll before the end of the Open Enrollment period.
If you are already enrolled in Medicaid, including RIte Care or RIte Smiles, please watch your mailbox for renewal information. This will be sent to you two months before your renewal date.
